Elizabeth Dale

British author of children's fiction, mainly for younger readers. Most of her books are animal stories and she has written for various series such as Pet Pals and Read With Ladybird. One of her books is a pony story, which unusually features a Downs Syndrome child. It is part of a series of stand-alone pony stories for younger readers by various authors called Perfect Tales for Pony Lovers

Paperback original. Still in print and available new from UK booksellers. Used copies are also easy to find in the UK. Harder to find in the USA, although the odd copy or two may be floating around. But as the books are cheap to buy from the UK, getting hold of a copy will not be too troublesome for American readers.
